Fans of the Fast & Furious series of films now have two reasons to be happy. Not only is Fast 6 due in cinemas on May 24, but now a video game adaptation of the car chase-happy franchise is coming.
Published by Activision and developed by Firebrand, the game will be called Fast & Furious: Showdown and will, according to a listing on EBGames, include eight locations spread across the globe, and 31 missions that can be tackled alone or with friends.
Featuring tried and tested Fast & Furious fare, the game is said to take place between the events of Fast 5 and the upcoming Fast 6, and will include races, hijacking, and a plethora of desirable rides.
More details are promised by Activision, a spokesperson told Digital Spy, and these will surface “in the coming weeks.” The game will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on May 22 to coincide with Fast 6's release.
