It might just be that, contrary to the image that's sometimes portrayed of the man, Michael Bay is a sweet, kind, pussy cat at heart. Once upon a time, you might remember, Megan Fox had some less than uplifting things to say Mr Bay, throwing in phrases like "he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward" and "he has no social skills at all", along with "he's a tyrant" and "he wants to be like Hitler".
It was regarded that as a result of these comments, which turned up in a magazine interview, that Megan Fox got the heave-ho from the third Transformers movie. And you would have thought that was that.
Surprisingly then, Michael Bay has now announced on his official website that "we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family" in relation to the forthcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Bay is heavily involved in the movie, although it's Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath Of The Titans) who's directing it.
Fox's role in Ninja Turtles hasn't been announced as of yet, but it's widely expected to be April O'Neil. And her return to the world of Michael Bay might just mean that the man himself is a warm, cuddly teddy bear once you peel back the layers. That, or Megan Fox cut her asking price.
Ninja Turtles is set for release next year.
