Infamous is one of the stronger Sony franchises, and the two PlayStation 3 titles already have a strong following with protagonist, Cole Macgrath, becoming a firm favourite. Now, the series is set to return on the next Sony platform, the PlayStation 4, but it’s going to star a new protagonist, of the emo variety by the looks of it.
Delsin Rowe is the new guy, and, after he finds out he has super powers, is forced to fight the D.U.P. (Department of Unified Protection), an organisation that hunts down and incarcerates those with special powers (X-Men, anyone?). It’s not currently clear if Delsin is any relation to Cole Macgrath, or even if the game is set in the same universe as the previous games, but you can bet it’ll boast similar open-world play, and a host of super-powered abilities to play with.
