
With Captain America: The Winter Soldier set to start shooting in a few months' time, the next Marvel movie after that is arguably the riskiest in its current slate: Guardians Of The Galaxy. Due for release in August 2014, the movie is being directed by James Gunn, and is likely to have a strong tie in to The Avengers 2, which is the Marvel feature that follows it.
Right now, the casting for Guardians Of The Galaxy is slowly beginning to slide into place, with the news that the film's lead has been found. Taking on the role of Peter Quill/Star-Lord will be Chris Pratt. Pratt, currently being seen on the big screen in Zero Dark Thirty, is also known for playing Andy Dwyer in Parks And Recreation.
With production set to start in the months ahead, expect more Guardians Of The Galaxy casting in due course...
