This one was first rumoured last year, but only now has the news been finally confirmed: Kristen Wiig is joining the cast of the new Anchorman movie, Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
The news was confirmed by director Adam McKay on his Twitter feed, and Wiig is rumoured to play the love interest for Steve Carell's Brick Tamland in the new film.
Currently, Anchorman: The Legend Continues is set for release on December 20th. That said, shooting has yet to begin on the movie. Expect cameras to be working in the next month or two...
