It looks as if Zack Snyder's Superman reboot Man Of Steel is all but in the can/hard drive, as the MPAA has revealed the rating that it's given the film. The rating itself isn't a massive surprise - the film has been classified PG-13 - but there is a small amount of detail as to why.
The official MPAA guidance is that it's got a PG-13 for "intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and for some language". Which is pretty much in line with what you'd expect, but we thought you'd like to know anyway.
The film is scheduled for release in June. And as it's just about done, we wonder if Warner Bros might arrange a preview screening or two, well ahead of that. No harm in hoping...
