Courtesy of an 'announcement' trailer, and a nine-minute preview that's screening before certain IMAX showings of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, we've finally got some kind of flavour as to what shape JJ Abrams'Star Trek sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness, is taking.
However, if you caught The Hobbit over the weekend, you might also have seen the new, different and longer theatrical trailer too, which Paramount Pictures has now released online. There's lots of new footage here, and it's all really rather exciting.
Star Trek Into Darkness, as you probably very well know, is released next May. Much like many of you, we really can't wait to see it. In the meantime, here's that new trailer...
