There's one Doctor Who broadcast date nobody needs to guess, infer, or wheedle out of a BBC intern, and that's for the Christmas Special (this year entitled The Snowmen), which, sure as eggs, will air on Christmas Day.
Starring Richard E. Grant in a villainous role, Neve McIntosh (Madame Vastra), Catrin Stewart (Jenny Flint), Dan Starkey (Strax), and of course Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman as the Doctor and new companion Clara, The Snowmen is a Victorian-set festive tale. Judging by these new images and official poster for the episode, if any of these little fellas wanted to take you walking in the air though, we'd give it a miss...
