Production is set to begin on the second The Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire, in a few weeks' time, with Francis Lawrence taking the director's chair from the original film's helmer, Gary Ross.
The new movie will see Jennifer Lawrence lead the returning cast, although hammering down which new faces will appear has proven tricky. We're yet to find out, for instance, who will land the role of Finnick Odair, or if Phillip Seymour Hoffman has indeed signed up to play Plutarch Heavensbee.
However, there is one person willing to go on record and declare that he's in talks for the film. And that's Kevin Nash, the former wrestler who turned to acting, with The Punisher (2004) and the incoming Magic Mike on his resume.
And it was at the premiere of Magic Mike that he revealed his Catching Fire involvement. Nash revealed that he was indeed in talks for a part in the film, telling USA Today "I just pray it's recurring, that he doesn't get killed".
Which role is he playing? He wouldn't say, although we'd happily tell you know that it won't be someone small and meek. But when we find out for definite, we'll let you know...
