Darth Maul battles the Death Watch, light sabres abound and Yoda strokes his chin… what else could it be but an exhilarating new trailer for season five of The Clone Wars. Not due to air until mid-September, The Clone Wars is beginning the trail early with this fresh glimpse of what’s to come.
Supervising director Dave Filoni told The Hollywood Reporter that fans can expect more links between the animated series and Episode IV in the new season, “I think people are going to see ways The Clone Wars ties together more and more with A New Hope. We’re setting up elements that eventually become the Empire.” Sounds good, see what you think below.
